General Terms and Conditions Hotel Schaepkens van St. Fijt
1. Reservations
Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or by email. A reservation is final once you have received a confirmation from us.
2. Rates
All listed prices are in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude tourist tax and any other local levies, unless otherwise indicated.
3. Cancellation
Cancellation of a reservation is possible free of charge up to 3 days before the scheduled arrival date. In the event of cancellation after this deadline, a no-show, or early departure, the hotel may charge costs amounting to (part of) the reserved stay. Different cancellation conditions may apply during certain periods, packages, or special offers. If this is the case, it will be clearly stated during the reservation process and in the reservation confirmation.
4. Check-in and Check-out
The check-in and check-out times are stated in the reservation confirmation. Deviations are only possible in consultation and subject to availability.
5. Payment
The hotel reserves the right to require an advance payment. Payment for the stay must be made no later than upon arrival or departure, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Facilities
The hotel strives to keep all facilities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and other amenities, available to its guests. However, it may occur that facilities are temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances. No rights can be derived from the temporary unavailability of facilities.
7. Liability
The hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' property, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the hotel.
8. House Rules
Guests must adhere to the hotel's house rules. The hotel reserves the right to deny guests access to the hotel in the event of a violation of these rules, without refund of amounts already paid.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to disruptions, natural disasters, pandemics, government measures, strikes, or technical problems, the hotel reserves the right to modify or cancel reservations. In such cases, the hotel will endeavor to provide an appropriate solution.
10. Applicable Law All reservations and agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
